I backed Bradford City for the title, but the Bantams blew it big time. However, I can't see them making the same mistake twice, and the experienced heads they have brought in should ensure a return to League One. Michael Boulding in particular is a big signing.

Shrewsbury have bought well, and their new frontline of Grant Holt and Richard Walker should be the most lethal in the division.

And if David Graham can recapture his form of a few years ago for Lincoln, who have also bought well, they should be up there too.

Wycombe have been more shrewd with their signings, but Chris Zebroski, who scored 18 goals for Torquay in the Conference last year, should be a good capture.

Chesterfield look as strong as ever, and l feel Sammy McIlroy's Morecambe will push on from their excellent first showing last time round.

Completing the promotion and play-offs picture should be out very own Brentford. Every signing Andy Scott has made looks exciting, and with a lot of dead wood gone, it's shaping up for a memorable season for the Bees if they can get a decent replacement for Matt Heywood. Down at the bottom, it's hard to see Luton finishing other than rock-bottom if they start on -30.

I've always admired Rotherham's fighting spirit, and even if they start on -20, I wouldn't bet against them catching Dagenham, who look weaker than last season.

Here's how I see League Two finishing:

1. Bradford City

2. Shrewsbury Town

3. Chesterfield

4. Lincoln City

5. Wycombe Wanderers

6. BRENTFORD

7. Morecambe

8. Rochdale

9. Darlington

10. Grimsby Town

11. Gillingham

12. Notts County

13. Port Vale

14. Aldershot Town

15. Chester City

16. Bury

17. Barnet

18. Exeter City

19. Macclesfield Town

20. AFC Bournemouth *

21. Accrington Stanley

22. Rotherham United *

23. Dagenham & Redbridge

24. Luton Town *

Although tipping Bradford for the title last season proved way off the mark, I did correctly tip Peterborough and MK Dons to go up - although those two didn't exactly require a crystal ball!

Hereford proved me correct in tipping them to be a surprise package, but I didn't fore-see just how much so. However,my other surprise package tip, Chester City,l et me down more than Bradford did!

I wasn't too far off in predicting Brentford to finish 10th, just two places off their actual 12th place.
