Gabby Agbonlahor will not feature in Aston Villa's game against Chelsea this weekend due to an ongoing internal investigation.
Eric Black revealed this morning that veteran striker Agbonlahor has been removed from the squad due to the investigation.
The striker will not feature for the club until the investigation has been concluded.
Agbonlahor has hit the headlines in recent days for allegedly smoking on shisha pipes during a holiday in Dubai.
He used social media yesterday to hit back at the press.
Agbonlahor's Instagram message below came after he hit the tabloids for allegedly smoking on a shisha pipe.
It made the front page of today's Daily Star with the headline 'Villa star's 7 hour hookah and booze party', the story ran over a number of websites yesterday.
Gabby it seems has a point to make to the media though for flagging up the alleged behaviour...
Richards labelled an Aston Villa fan ‘a clown’ for tagging him in a picture on Instagram earlier in the week.
The Villa captain, who has 128,000 followers on the social media site, posted a reply to one supporter which read:
“Don’t tag me in your stupid photos u clown! Excuse us for having a few days away after a long hard season.”
