Guus Hiddink has revealed he won’t be providing Antonio Conte with a dossier of Chelsea’s squad when he hands over control to the Italian.

Conte will officially take charge of the Blues this summer after leading out his country at the European Championships in France.

Interim boss Hiddink will be stepping down from his role as boss to make way for the former Juventus chief and the two will cross paths next month.

Hiddink is due to be making the short trip across the channel to fulfill media duties at the Euros and could easily sit down and brief the incoming Chelsea manager.

However, the Dutchman says he didn’t want any reports of the squad he inherited from Jose Mourinho and thinks Conte is also capable of making his own assessment.

Hiddink said: “He and his assistants watch videos of the games and when the season is over they might visit, I don’t know.

“I’ve told the players that I want to have fair treatment directly to the players and I’m not going to give judgement because I have to work with them now.

“And they [Conte and his staff] are clever enough to make their own judgements about the very short future.

“I didn’t want information when I started in December - everyone has a coloured view, right or wrong, or however you make your judgement.”

“They are clever enough and experienced enough to make their own judgements.”

Hiddink is preparing Chelsea for their penultimate game of the season at Liverpool’s Anfield tomorrow night.

However, he will be without the suspended John Terry as it appears the captain might have played his final game for the club with his contract set to expire in June.

Hiddink added: “He has been training the recent days. Of course, when you come on the pitch for training after being sent off, it’s not the most beautiful thing.

“In training, he started to lift up his morale and trained ok. But being there in the last few days.

“When I make a judgement on how he plays, fitness, age, he’s able to continue. Where? It’s up to the club.”

  4. Thursday, May 12

The Blues are likely to be given the day off after their exertions in Liverpool the previous night. Recovery time is crucial for the squad to avoid injuries, particularly in the latter stages of the season.

  5. Friday & Saturday, May 13 & 14

Training resumes at Cobham as attention turns to Chelsea’s final remaining Premier League fixture of the 2015-16 season. Terry is expected to continue working on his fitness with the group despite his continued suspension.

  6. Sunday, May 15

Leicester come to Stamford Bridge to bring the curtain down on the campaign. Terry will be in attendance and take in the game from the comfort of a private box before joining the squad on the pitch for a lap of honour and followed by a bash at the club’s Under the Bridge music venue.

  7. Monday, May 16

Having been confined to the stands for the Leicester game, Terry will finally get the chance to take to the field one last time for a farewell party after it emerged he is hiring out Stamford Bridge for a game with his close pals. Chelsea are waiving the pitch hire fee.

  8. Tuesday, May 17

The countdown begins until the expiry of Terry’s Chelsea contract at the end of June. Unless the club have a late change of heart, the captain will begin looking for a new club for next season.
