Andy Barcham always knew AFC Wimbledon were capable of putting together a run like the one they now find themselves on.

The Dons have notched up four straight League Two victories for the first time in manager Neal Ardley’s reign.

Those 12 points have propelled them into the play-off positions and brought a new wave of optimism to the Kingsmeadow club.

Barcham was on target in Saturday’s 2-0 win over Notts County and has watched the Dons more closely than most this term having been forced onto the sidelines for a lengthy spell due to injury.

“We’re playing really well at the moment and we’re trying to keep this run going,! Barcham told Dons Player.

“We’re feeling confident and taking that into every game. Everyone is really buzzing in there at the moment.

“We always thought we had this about us in this squad and it was just about tweaking things. We needed to find out best shape and system and I think we’ve got that going now.

“We know we’ve got players we can shift around and we’re always comfortable no matter who we put out there on the pitch.”

Wimbledon will be looking to make it five out of five on Saturday when relegation-battlers Yeovil Town visit Kingsmeadow.
