Sammy Moore was left behind due to an issue with his passport as his AFC Wimbledon team-mates flew out to La Manga today.

With delays in processing due to passport staff going on strike, Moore never got his on time and so will miss the three-day training camp.

Instead, while his Dons pals are living it up at the Spanish resort, Moore will itrudge out at the less glamorous surroundings of Canvey Island tomorrow, when he is due to play in a friendly for AFC's U21s.

Meanwhile, Dons boss Neal Ardley has confirmed that George Oakley suffered a hamstring injury in training and he could miss the start of the new season.

The young striker had only recently returned to full training following an illness and George is now likely to be out for a few weeks.

However, Jake Nicholson is back in full training after shaking off a hamstring injury that has kept him out for two weeks.
