The AFC Wimbledon squad have been taking a sneak peak at the league table and are looking at the gaps to both the play-offs and the bottom four.

The Dons climbed into the top 10 after their 3-1 win over Oxford on Sunday and are just two points shy of sixth placed Northampton.

On the other hand, the League One table is so tight, Oldham, who currently occupy 21st and the final relegation place, are four points behind them.

And Andy Barcham is excited to see the gap to the top six closing but is still glancing over his shoulder.

He said: “We do look at the table. We were seeing where we are. It's nice to see we're pushing up the league.

“It's early days yet so there is a long way to go to worry about that. We look at the gaps both ways.

“It's so tight at the moment. We're making our way towards the top six which is nice but we've got to be professional as the league is so tight, a defeat could see you drop a few places. We've got to go about our business in the same way.”
