AFC Wimbledon finally got their first away win since 26th December 2014 thanks to a 2-1 victory at Crawley Town, although for the first 45 it didn't seem likely that it would happen.

Neal Ardley set his side up in a 3-4-3 formation and the Dons soon found themselves a goal down courtesy of a Gwion Edwards header and they were fortunate it wasn't more.

The away side struggled to build upon any forward momentum, while the front three of Lyle Taylor, Adebayo Akinfenwa and Tom Elliott had no supply lines to feed upon. The midfield also struggled to deal with Luke Rooney's movement and energy and he was a constant thorn in their side the entire first half

However, Ardley's half time team talk and tactical change of bringing Dannie Bulman on to replace Elliott and switching to a 4-4-2 formation worked wonders and Wimbledon looked a different side - creating attacking chance after chance down both wings.

The Dons were far the better side in the second half and, although the first half can't be forgotten, they were good value for their win.

On a final note, Adebayo Akinfenwa finally got a chance to show fans his new celebration 'the Whip' after scoring the equalising goal!
