AFC Wimbledon are bottom of League One after the opening three games of the season but it has done little to dampen the spirit of the fans.

The phoenix club are playing in the third tier of English football for the first time since their formation out of the ashes of Wimbledon FC.

The Dons’ latest defeat came on Tuesday night at home to Scunthorpe United.

Despite Darius Charles getting on the scoresheet in the second half, Neal Ardley’s side were unable to claw back their opponents and were beaten 2-1 at Kingsmeadow.

“We started trying to chase the game from the moment we were 1-0 down and we became very open because of it,” admitted boss Ardley.

“Bully (Danny Bulman) and Jake (Reeves) were chasing things other people should be chasing and Scunny are a good side who will hurt you going forward.”

Thousands of loyal fans were there to see the loss. If you were one of them, then check out our gallery and see if you can spot yourself in the crowd.
