Southall's match at Hillingdon Abbots Seniors in the MCFL Senior Open Cup was postponed on Saturday due to a waterlogged pitch.

The two teams will try again this Saturday. Kick-off at the Old Abbotstonians Rugby Club, Gainsborough Road,Hayes is at 1.30 pm. Next week (February 14), Southall are again in cup action when they attempt to reach their first County Final since 1999. They face Willesden Constantine in the semi-final of the MCFA Intermediate Cup. The match at Alperton Sports Ground has a 1.30pm start.

* A Depleted Beesotted side twice surrendered the lead before slipping to another defeat against Hampton Badgers on Sunday. Gary Johnson and Kevin Farren put the Brentford supporters'side ahead in the Chiswick & District Intermediate clash, but Hampton hit back to level. And the visitors added another pair of unanswered goals after the break to snatch the points and a 4-2 win. Elsewhere,Will Emmett scored a controversial stoppage-time penalty as the second string reached the last four of the Riverside Junior Cup. Trailing 1-0 to Isleworth Victoria Veterans, super-sub Dennis Hawkins popped up 10 minutes from time to ram them level. Emmett was hauled down in the box in the dying seconds, then dusted himself off to bury the kick and seal their spot in the semi-final. Danny Stewart bagged the man of the match prize.

* QPR's clash with Cardiff City has been switched from Sunday, February 15 to Wednesday 25 (7.45pm). Next weekend's scheduled trip to Ninian Park was called off because of this week's snow storm which caused Cardiff's FA Cup fourth round replay at Arsenal to be postponed. With that cup tie now taking place on February 16 - the weekend of the fifth round - the fixture against Rangers had to be delayed. Meanwhile,Brentford's trip to Dagenham has been put back 48 hours until Monday,March 23, having been selected for TV coverage by Sky.
