Hayes and Yeading United went down to their second successive home defeat in the Blue Square Conference South when they were beaten 4-3 by Fisher Athletic at Church Road last night (Tuesday).

This latest setback for Garry Haylock's side sees them slip down to sixth place in the table and they have now taken just one point out of a possible nine after previously holding top spot in the division.

Fisher, who started the game in a lowly 19th position, led 1-0 at the interval but Ram Mawra put United back on level terms after 50 minutes.

However, three minutes later Bentley scored his second goal for Fisher and they then went 3-1 ahead in the 72nd minute when Higgins netted.

Kieran Knight pulled a goal back for H&Y in the 79th minute and then in a dramatic finish to the match Knight bagged his second goal and Higgins was again on target for Fisher, who finally finished 4-3 winners.
