Hayes & Yeading United will be looking to get their Blue Square Conference South promotion hopes back on track when they meet Havant & Waterlooville at Church Road tomorrow (Saturday).

Just one point from their last three league matches has seen United slip out of the play-off positions and they are now sixth - six points behind leaders Chelmsford City.

Havant are having a disappointing time in the league and occupy 14th place having suffered four successive defeats. However, once again they are making a name for themsevles in the FA Cup having reached the third round last season before losing to Liverpool at Anfield.

Last Saturday they beat Blue Square Premier high flyers Crawley Town and this has set up a money spinning home tie in the first round with Brentford, which will be televised live on November 9.

United boss Garry Haylock is still hoping to add a new defender to his squad ahead of tomorrow's match, which kicks off at 3pm.
