Hayes and Yeading United saw their FA Cup dreams ended at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday as they went down 2-0 to Oxford United in the fourth qualifying round.

Second half goals from on loan strikers Jamie Guy (57 minutes) and James Constable (74 minutes) took Blue Square Premier Oxford to victory and a home tie in the first round proper against Hayes & Yeading's Blue Square Conference South rivals Dorchester Town.

The closest H&Y came to causing an upset was early in the first half when midfielder Ram Marwa had the ball in the net but his effort was ruled out for offside.

After a fairly evenly matched first half Oxford dominated the second 45 minutes and H&Y goalkeeper Delroy Preddie had to pull off several fine saves to keep the home side at bay in front of a crowd of 2,521.
