Brentford twice came from a goal down to claim victory over 10-man Bristol City.

The Robins took the lead inside the first two minutes as Jonathan Kodija lashed home but Alan Judge levelled the scores seven minutes later.

Aaron Wilbraham has restored the lead for City on 23 minutes but the critical moment came with 10 minutes of the first half remaining as Luke Freeman saw red for a wild challenge on Harlee Dean.

Brentford were level before half time as Derrick Williams put the ball into his own net and Andre Gray put the Bees ahead on the hour mark with a powerful strike.

Philipp Hofmann sealed the win with 19 minutes remaining to ensure head coach Marinus Dijkhuizen had some cheer at the end of a difficult week that saw the Bees lose Andreas Bjelland for the season and lose 4-0 to Oxford in the League Cup.
