Defender Sean Kelly has left AFC Wimbledon to sign for Scottish Premiership side Ross County.

The Glasgow born 23-year-old started his career at St Mirren, before joining AFC Wimbledon in 2016 following a successful trial.

Kelly scored his first goal for the Dons on 14 January, in a 2–1 win against Oxford United. In total he made 32 appearances for AFC Wimbledon last season, scoring twice.

Speaking about the signing of Kelly, Ross County manager, Jim McIntyre said: “Sean is a player I have admired for a number of years now. He is a left sided player and at 6'2" will add a real presence to our defence.

"Although still young at 23, Sean has lots of experience having played for St Mirren before moving south to Wimbledon. He will be a great addition to the squad and I am delighted to get him tied up.”
