Middlesex will kick off the T20 tournament with their first double header against Sussex and rivals Essex at Lords.

Organisers are hoping for a full crowd for the event at the home of cricket, with Eoin Morgan hoping to start the season with four valuable points.

The first game will see the Panthers take on Greg Smith's Essex side at 12noon and Yasir Arafat Sussex’s team at 4.

Morgan has said that although tiredness may be an issue, having home advantage will hopefully sway the games their way.

Middlesex have been boosted by recruiting the highly experienced Australian international all-rounder Dan Christian.

The summer signing has over 100 wickets and 1600 runs to his name.
