STANMORE'S sides endured a winless weekend with only the second team earning a fruitful draw against second placed Eastcote.

With the first team's match abandoned just 15 overs into Southgate's reply, it was left to the club's second and third strings to go for victory.

However, the second XI could not get out Eastcote, having declared on 207 for seven off 50 overs, with RPandya (53) and James Hand (56) producing solid knocks.

Eastcote took a point to Stanmore's four having reached 276 for nine in 44 overs.

Stanmore thirds will be looking anxiously over their shoulders after defeat to Teddington left them just 11 points above the relegation zone.

Greg McCarthy (53) and Dave Evans (65 not out) helped the hosts, who declared at 202 for six after 52 overs, but Teddington eased home with two wickets to spare in 43.4 overs thanks largely to a sublime 79 from A Singh.
