DIVISION ONE: Harlington 247 (35pts) beat Hawley 154 (8pts) by 93 runs

Contributions from right throughout the team kept Harlington on pole position in the league as they eased to victory at Hawley by 93 runs.

Harlington were asked to bat on a slow wicket and an excellent opening stand of 50 between Michael Oakes (11) and the explosive Waseem Khan (37) put them in the driving seat.

Skipper Amjad Raja then blasted his way to 53 which featured some classy stroke play and with more runs coming from Aziz Malik (32), Nasrat Khan (21) and Maninder Singh (24), Harlington posted an imposing 247.

Hawley started well in reply despite a good opening blast from Amjad Raja (2-37), who bagged two wickets, and Ali Bhatti.

Hawley found life ever more difficult in the face of keen fielding and tight bowling from Faisal (3-58) and Nasrat Khan (2-26) and the hosts were eventually bowled out in the 36th over. [25a0] Ilija Krunic produced yet another fine all-round display as Ruislip Victoria (30pts) beat Woodley (6pts) by six wickets.

Krunic claimed five for 43 and Sydney Combrinck (3-55) also chipped in as Woodley were bowled out for 176, with only Moby Shaukat (38 not out) resisting.

Krunic then hit 60 and Ravi Gilbert added 37 as Ruislip Victoria reached 179 for four.
