Pinner bounced back from a heavy defeat to inflict one of their own with a seven wicket triumph over GWR in the Middlesex Championship Division Two on Saturday.
AT 184 for 4, GWR looked set to post a huge score with Dudgeon (55) and Arghadabi (36) leading the way. However, Pinner pulled it out of the bag by taking GWR's last six wickets for just 22 runs, skittling them for 208. Niroshan Rajadurai (3 for 34), Hamish Kumar (4 for 13) and the evergreen Sy Balendran (2 for 52) were savvy with the ball.
In reply, Pinner flew out of the traps with John Spencer (27), Sagar Panaskar (67) and a stylish knock of 60 not out by Ranjit Bagwe eased them home with nine overs to spare.
Pinenr's second XI did not fare so well, however, as they went down to an 80 run defeat to Crouch End Calthorpe. Chintal Parikh (4 for 60) and Auggie Pereira (3 for 59) restricted Calthorpe to 195 for 9 but it proved to be too big a target for Pinner who collapsed for 115 with Sanket Shah (57) top scoring.
In Sunday's friendly with Berkhamsted, former player Peter Dudley haunted Harrow with 67 as his side raced to daunting 240 for 6. Pinner got off to a good start in reply with John Spencer (24) and Norman Williams (18) only to collapse to 68 for 8. They were sent packing for 111, resulting in a 129-run defeat.
