Middlesex were left in Twenty20 Cup limbo as to who their opponents will be in the semi-finals.

They will play either Durham or Nottinghamshire who are due to meet in the quarter-final after Yorkshire's dramatic expulsion from the competition earlier in the week.

However, both Durham and Yorkshire may yet appeal against the decision.

In the other semi-final Essex will face Kent. Both semis and the final itself will be played on Saturday, July 26 at Hampshire's Rose Bowl in what promises to be a great day of Twenty20 Cup excitement.
