MIke Peries celebrated his 50th birthday with an unbeaten century for Old Isleworthians & Heston's Sunday side.
He made 112 not out as Old Is beat Richmond by four wickets in a Sunday friendly.
Barry Martin had earlier claimed five wickets, and James Hirst four, as Old Is bowled out Richmond for 228.
It was certainly a better day than the First XI had the previous day, when they were beaten by Osterley 2000 by 126 runs. with Osterley having declared on 302-5, a decimated Old Is team put up a brave fight in reply, with Sunny Luthra hitting 34 before Charlie Robinson (53) put on a partner-ship of 80 with Jamie Brunton (52).
Batting at no.8, Brunton, who smashed an unbeaten 38 last week, is set to be rewarded for his hot form by being moved further up the order.
However, even his half-century could not prevent Old Is succumbing for 176.
