Teen bowler Gurjit Sandhu's career-best figures of 6-33 were not enough to give Wycombe House victory on Saturday.

He took three early wickets in House's Middlesex County Cricket League, Division Three, clash at Ickenham, but could do little about Jamie Taylor's 89 for the home side.

His stand helped Ickenham finish on 253-7, with House in a way being penalised for some tight early bowling as their hosts made use of the full 56 overs.

House got off to a dreadful start in reply, with the top order dismissed without much of a fight, and were staring down the barrel at 67-7.

However, Richard Bruce (32) and Carl Burdett hung around for the remaining overs as House escaped with a valuable losing draw point, finishing on 148-8.

In the Premier, Teddington kept up the pressure on leaders Ealing with a three-wicket win at Eastcote, in which Toby Bailey made 68.

Twickenham moved out of the Division Two drop zone, and moved Richmond closer to it, by winning their derby on Twickenham Green.

Twickenham declared on 235-9, with Grant Hughes hitting 66 and Justin Scriven 46, while A Banjaree took 5-77.

They then bowled out their neighbours for 136, with Scriven taking 4-39, and Banjaree's 36 the only real resistance from Richmond.
