Bessborough tumbled to a 97-run defeat in their opening County League Division Three match at home to Enfield on Saturday.
After winning the toss and putting the visitors in to bat first, they bowled and fielded well, and dismissed their rivals for 189 in 48 overs.
But their batting was a disaster. Steve Richards (5-26) was their tormentor as Bessborough were sent crashing to 92 all out in just 28.1 overs in their reply.
