Mike Padbury signed off after three seasons with Bush by thumping a quick 61 - and moving his former team closer to promotion.

Closest challengers Richmond could only draw to leave Bush six points ahead in second spot with two to play. Padbury's half-century on the eve of his return to Australia, was in tandem with a fine 77 from Robbie Watts.

But their team were made to sweat as Harrow dug in.

At one stage the visitors batting second were 101-2, but crumbled from the 27th over to lose seven wickets in fairly rapid succession. Michael Blumberg held out after Mo Mousazie's 56 posted at the top of the innings still saw the west Londoners crumble to 150-9, by the time young Nayar padded up and found a bat small enough he could swing.
