Shapewear and underwear brand Spanx are set to launch their own boutiques. Spanx, founded by Sara Blakely have become a multi-million business after Sara made her first pair of miracle knickers from a pair of tights. Since them the business have grown to shapewear and hosiery, with items that women can’t live without, including celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez. The brand is said to make $225million a year in revenue.

At the moment the stores will just be in America, three stores are set to be opened selling their much loved under garments, swimwear and sportswear all to help enhance your figure. These standalone stores will resemble the Spanx concessions seen in many department stores. Spanx is rapidly increasing as a brand;they are set to launch a range of Spanx for men as well as opening these stand-alone stores in October 2012.

Designer ladieswear boutique The Editeur sells a large range of Spanx shapewear, including control knickers and body suits. As well as shapewear giant Spanx, The Editeur also stocks premium hosiery brand Wolford, who also have a range of shapewear. The Editeur believe that underwear is the foundation to any woman’s wardrobe and sell designer lingerie including Mimi Holliday, Calvin Klein lingerie and Elle Macpherson Intimates.
