Thursday 6th September sees the glamorous and stylish get together for Vogue and the CFDA’s annual Fashion’s Night Out. Events will be taking place across the globe, mainly in New York and London.  The idea was first launched as an event to encourage shoppers to boost the economy and support the fashion industry in the ever growing tough times. The event was first launched in 2009, in New York and has gone on to become a popular event in the fashion industry calendar.

This year loads of events are happening across the globe, include London stores being open till late in well-known shopping areas such as Oxford Street, Regent Street and Sloane Square. Celebrities, fashion bloggers and consumers are all welcome to fashion store events. Designers such as Matthew Williamson and Burberry will be opening up their stores and putting on events such as catwalk shows.

Fashion designer Jonathon Saunders has designed Fashion’s Night Out T Shirts, with all proceeds going to domestic violence charity Refuge. The initiative is a great idea to try and support designer womenswear in the tough economic climate.

Designer womenswearretailer, The Editeur sells premium designer clothes, accessories and footwear. They are excited to see the events at Fashion’s Night Out and happy to promote consumers investing in designer brands. The Editeur stock brands including MW Matthew Williamson, Alice by Temperley and Pinko. The Editeur are currently working on a re-design of their fashion blog, which will incorporate features such as features on events like Fashion’s Night Out.
