Heathrow Terminal 1 was closed in June 2015 and its entire contents has gone up for sale

Everything must go!

The entire contents of Terminal 1 at Heathrow Airport has been put for auction, from check-in desks and baggage systems to airport furniture and signage.

There are hundreds of items offered for sale which can be inspected by prior appointment only.

As part of a unique offering ‘Turn key’ solutions are available for the extraction, refurbishment and re-installation globally of the airport systems.

Global auction firm Global Partners are the hosts of a series of auctions and private treaty sales for the remaining contents of the airport terminal.

The terminal closed almost two years ago, at the end of June 2015, to allow for the second stage of Terminal 2's expansion.

It was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II in April 1969, around 10 months after it first opened its doors.

It underwent a huge redevelopment project which was completed in 2005, doubling its departure lounge in size.
