A young man has been stabbed in an incident at Feltham Park on Monday evening (August 17).

The man, aged in his 20s, was rushed to a Surrey hospital where he remains in a "serious but stable condition".

Police said they were informed of the alleged stabbing at around 9.15pm but the incident is believed to have taken place earlier that evening in Feltham Park, Hounslow Road.

A spokesman said: "At around 9.15pm on Monday (August 17), police were notified of a man who attended a Surrey hospital suffering from stab wounds.

"The man, aged in his 20s, remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

"The man was stabbed in the early evening. He was stabbed in Feltham Park, Hounslow Road, Feltham."

Police tape remains in place at the crime scene and officers from Hounslow CID are investigating the incident.

Police said no arrests have been made at this early stage.
