A concerned husband has issued an appeal a week after his wife went missing from their family home in Hammersmith .

Katie Chopra, 41, left her home in Everington Street, Hammersmith early on Tuesday (October 31).

She was last seen at the Hammersmith Broadway Shopping Centre at 7am that day.

Police have since received a reported sighting of her in Eastbourne, Sussex later the same day.

Katie was seen wearing black leggings, a grey T-shirt and a thin padded jacket with white trainers and a large pink and beige woollen scarf at the time of her disappearance.

She is described as white, about 5ft 8 and of medium build with shoulder-length blonde hair.

Saurav Chopra, Katie's husband, said: "This is completely out of character for Katie.

"Obviously I am very, very worried and ask that anyone with any information no matter how insignificant they think it is comes forward and let the police know.

"Katie if you are reading this, myself and Noah are missing you very much and we want you to get in touch and let us know that you are safe and well."

Anyone who has seen Katie is asked to contact officers at Hammersmith and Fulham via 101 or @MetCC.

Alternatively, call Missing People on 116000.
