Two men have been arrested on suspicion of GBH as a stab victim, found injured in Yiewsley, recovers in hospital.

A 26-year-old man was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service after he was found with a stab injury on Saturday (May 6) at around 6.10pm, at Acacia Avenue, Yiewsley.

Two other people - a woman aged 26 and a man aged 27 - were also found at the scene suffering minor assault injuries.

Just over a week before this incident, a 90-year-old was left fighting for her life after being attacked in Lilac Place, just one road away.

Police officers in the Hillingdon Borough have made two arrests after the stabbing.

They first arrested a man, aged 22, on suspicion of GBH on the same night as the attack.

He was taken into custody and later released on bail pending further enquiries.

The second arrest of an 18-year-old man came after he attended a west London police station on Sunday, (May 7).

He was also arrested on suspicion of GBH and currently remains in custody.

The victim was taken to a west London hospital where his condition is said to be 'not life threatening'.
