A man was rushed to hospital after he was hit by a van in Yeading Lane in Hayes on Wednesday afternoon (February 22), according to police.

The Metropolitan Police were called by London Ambulance service at around 3.45pm after reports of a colission.

A man was rushed to hospital and his condition is currently not known at this time.

The driver of the van stopped at the scene and police said there are no arrests at the moment.

A statement from the force said: “police were called at around 3.45pm on Wednesday by London Ambulance Service to a collision between a van and a pedestrian in Yeading Lane.

“Officers attended and the pedestrian, a man (no further details at this time), was taken to hospital.”

Police said enquiries into this incident are ongoing.
