Viewers were angered the North Weezy rapper had taken to social media to gloat about her deal with Syco, hours before the winner of the singing competition was revealed.
To rile up people even more, real name Anna Gilford from Harrow , performed the new single at Wembley Arena during the X Factor final, giving it a prime time push on the ITV show, while Matt Terry and Saara Alto continued to battle for the winner's title.
One person tweeted: "Find it absolutely ridiculous that simon cowell had allowed honey g to release a single before the winner was even announced, what a joke."
Another tweeted: "Very disrespectful that Honey G has said she has record deal and a single coming out just b4 the factor winner is announced @SimonCowell "
A third person tweeted: "Disgusting that you would give Honey G a record deal AND release her single 12 days after the winner?? How is that ok?"
The rapper who was voted off the show two weeks ago will release her single The Honey G Show on December 23, following winner of X Factor 2016 Matt Terry's When Christmas Comes Around written by Ed Sheeran.
