A woman reportedly "shouted for help" as she was dragged into a car in Hounslow .

Hounslow CID officers are urging for help to trace a distressed female in Feltham following the report which was made in the early hours of Thursday (January 12) morning.

The incident, in which it was alleged a woman was pulled into a car, is reported to have happened in Staines Road near Shaftesbury Avenue in Feltham at around 3.30am.

The female, whose age is not known, is described as white, wearing a green coat with fur trim around the hood.

A silver or grey, small to medium-sized car, was reported to have driven away from the location at the time.

Other details include the possibility of a man and woman already inside the car when the victim was forced into the vehicle.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "It is reported that the woman was shouting for help.

"The car, which drove away from the location, is described as a small or medium-sized silver or grey vehicle.

"There may have been a man and a woman inside the car, in addition to the woman who was pulled inside."
