A female cyclist in her 50s has suffered serious injuries after being in collision with a van in Feltham

The crash took place outside the Airman Pub on Hanworth Road at around 5pm on June 26.

Police confirmed that the van driver stopped at the scene and that no arrests have been made.

Witnesses described seeing ambulances, fire crews and an air ambulance at the collision site where witnesses describe seeing the woman's "mangled" bicycle.

A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We were called at 5pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a cyclist at Hanworth Road, Feltham.

“We sent a number of resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, a single responder in a car and London’s air ambulance.

“We treated a woman for leg and arm injuries and took her to the Royal London Hospital by air ambulance.”
