A police appeal has been launched after a man indecently exposed himself to a horrified 23-year-old woman on a Bakerloo line train .

The incident happened on Saturday October 8 between Baker Street and Waterloo at around 9.15am, according to the police .

Officers would like to speak to anyone who was on the southbound train and might have seen a man acting suspiciously or witnessed the exposure.

Police released a CCTV image on Tuesday (November 8) of a man they would like to speak in connection with the incident who they believe may have "essential information".

PC Ben Periera with the British Transport Police said: “This was a highly distressing ordeal for this young woman and I am determined to trace the person responsible.

“I believe the man in the CCTV images has essential information that could help us with our investigation.

"Do you know him?”
