A student has been stabbed in broad daylight outside the College of North West London in Brent.

The 19-year-old victim was knifed on the doorstep of the Willesden Campus, which he attends, in Denzil Road off Dudden Hill Lane.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 10.41am on on Wednesday (March 15), and the young man was taken to hospital as priority.

A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We treated a teenager at the scene and took him as a priority to a major trauma centre."

An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with the stabbing, Scotland Yard confirmed.

He has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent and remains in custody at a north London police station.
