A road has been renamed and a plaque laid in memory of a former Westminster councillor.

The public space between the Zig Zag Building and Kings Gate on Victoria Street, in Victoria, is now known as Angela Hooper Place.

The ceremony took place on November 26 in honour of the councillor, who died in 2010 following 25 years of service to the people of Westminster as a councillor in the Marylebone area.
