It's time for commuters to rejoice as the stuffy train and bus journeys will not be as bad as West London's heat wave is set to come to an end.

After plenty of uncomfortable sleeps, burns and continuous sweating, Londoners are set to get some respite from the heat as it is set to cool down over the next few days.

Soon the heat, which has hit highs of around 30 degrees over the last few days, will become a distant memory.

London is the 'sweatiest' county in UK, according to research

On Thursday (June 20), the temperature will drop to 24 degrees and that trend will continue with overcast skies and highs of 21 degrees from Friday (June 23) to Monday (June 26).

Towards the end of the week and over the weekend temperatures at night time will be around 20 degrees.
