The Real Schools Guide 2017 has released the definitive list of the best state-funded schools in west London.
Taking the crown for the top school this year is Hounslow's St Mark's Catholic School.
The criteria for the list, compiled by getwestlondon's data unit, takes 50 different data points into account from GCSE performance to teacher-pupil ratios and absence rates.
Rankings are published nationally for 3,088 state-funded secondary schools, with Tauheedul Islam Girls' High School in Blackburn topping the national rankings.
Hounslow has the most top performing schools, with three making the list, while Westminster has two.
Second place on the prestigious annual list went to Ark King Solomon Academy in Marylebone while Greenford's Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School took third place.
Non-selective St Mark's in Hounslow is one of the top attaining schools in the country.
The co-educational Roman Catholic School has around 1,200 pupils, with about 98% of them going on to higher education, a job or training - "significantly above" the national average.
More than 72% of the pupils at Ark King Solomon Academy do not speak English as their first language, just under five times the national average.
Despite this, the school has achieved top flight GCSE results, with its first ever batch of pupils leaving the school this summer.
Pupils at Ealing's Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School had an 'Attainment 8' score just shy of 10 points higher than the national average and performed well in all the criteria, scoring five stars for attainment, progress, attendance and outcomes.
