Jeremy Corbyn has been re-elected as labour leader after an emphatic victory over his opponent Owen Smith.

Corbyn secured 62% per cent of the vote, increasing his mandate secured when he was elected leader of the opposition last year.

Over 500,000 Labour Party members and supporters voted in the election, with Corbyn securing 313,209 to Smith's 193,229.

Campaigners and politicians from across west London have reacted to the news.
