As thousands of shoppers descend on Shepherd's Bush for some retail therapy, the smaller West 12 shopping centre housed opposite Westfield also attracts its fair share of diners.

Its small but affordable cafes and restaurants are nevertheless also subjected to hygiene levels.

But exactly how clean and hygienic are they to indulge in?

Getwestlondon has already trawled through Westfield's hygiene ratings where five out of 80 food establishments scored two or below.

We have also scoured through the Treaty Centre in Hounslow where all their restaurants were rated three or above.

Meanwhile at one of the busiest train stations in the capital, London Waterloo did not disappoint, as its 27 food outlets did not score below four.

So how do hygiene ratings compare at West 12?
