We're in for another hot one as temperatures rise even higher than they have already this week.

On Wednesday (June 21), the sunshine will almost be unbroken throughout the day with temperatures reaching 34 °C.

It will remain warm and muggy again overnight, with a small risk of isolated thunderstorms developing into the early hours of Thursday (June 22) morning.

The storms could continue into the rest of the morning on Thursday but the Met Office is predicting it will clear away eastwards, as fresher conditions spread from the west.

Temperatures will reach around 26°C before becoming "pleasantly" warm again on Friday (June 23).

Saturday (June 24) will be cloudy at times with a few showers, before Sunday (June 25) turns dry with some sunshine.
