Schoolchildren have been busting some moves in preparation for their Red Nose Day dance-athon, as this video demonstrates.

Youngsters at Hounslow Heath Infant & Nursery School have been grooving to tunes including Mark Ronson's Uptown Funk and Shake It Off by Taylor Swift.

Teachers at the school in Martindale Road, Hounslow, have also been practising their steps for the dance, which they will perform for real on Friday (March 13).

Staff will ask parents to donate £1 each to watch the performance.

Together with the proceeds from a bake sale, headteacher Kathryn Harper-Quinn hopes to raise a total of £1,000 for Comic Relief, which funds good causes across the world.
