A vulnerable man discharged himself from hospital despite needing urgent medical attention.

Police in Westminster are now appealing for help to find Paul Reilly, 39, who was reported missing on Saturday (September 2) at 7.40pm.

Mr Reilly discharged himself from St Thomas' Hospital where he was receiving treatment.

Officers are concerned for his health and wellbeing as Mr Reilly suffers from a serious lung condition which requires him to take medication, without it hospital staff have indicated there is a serious risk to his life.

He is described as white of medium build with cropped black straight hair and is clean shaven.

It is not known what he was wearing when he was last seen.
