Volunteers are needed for a newly launched St John Ambulance unit in North Kensington.

It is based at the Edward Woods Community Centre in Norwood Road, and will provide first aid cover to local events, fetes, festivals, concerts, exhibitions and ceremonies.

The new branch will also attend sporting events, including football, cricket, tennis, rugby and athletics.

It is now looking for people of all ages to join to develop as trainers or leaders in our organisation.

Over 18s can then go onto additional training after sufficient experience, to drive and crew ambulances or join a specialist team - casualty retrieval or cycle response for example.
