A 27-year-old man was taken to hospital after being attacked by three men on a Central line train at South Ruislip station on Bonfire Night.

British Transport Police (BTP) were called to the station at around 10.15pm to reports a man had been assaulted.

The attack happened on board the train to South Ruislip and the three suspects left the scene at the station.

According to BTP, the victim was taken to hospital for treatment after suffering minor injuries during the assault.

Anyone with information is asked to call BTP on 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 598 5/11.
