Police who were hunting for a man in connection with the murder of a woman in Hillingdon, Uxbridge, have made an arrest.

Detectives appealed to trace the whereabouts of a 41-year-old as part of their investigation into the stabbing of mother-of-two Emily Munemo, 42, at a house in Collingwood Road on Friday (January 30).

On Monday evening (February 2), the Metropolitan Police confirmed it had made an arrest, on suspicion of murder, and the man remained in custody pending further enquiries.

This week, neighbours spoke of their shock at the incident.

A 35-year-old man, who was arrested on Saturday (January 31) on suspicion of murder has been bailed until mid-March.
