Usain Bolt is set to finish one of the greatest individual sporting careers in London on Saturday night (August 5).

After a decade in the limelight, the sprinting superstar is ending his illustrious career at the IAAF World Championships in London.

The sporting legend will start these championships with eight Olympic gold medals and eleven World Championship medals to his name.

A London Athletics spokesman said: "From our point of view in the London region, we are very excited to see the world ‘return’ to London so soon after the best Olympic games the world has ever seen visited our great city.

"Not many (if any) Olympic host cities get this opportunity!.

"It is a fitting tribute to see the legacy of our sport with the direct correlation of the likes of Dina Asher-Smith now taking part alongside Usain Bolt but just five years ago at the 2012 games, she was a kit carrier on the track."
