Harrow residents are now able to tuck into food from their favourite restaurants at the tap of a button with the UberEATS app.

UberEATS, will be offering food and drink from top eateries across Harrow and Edgware, to compete with already established Deliveroo.

Hungry app users will be able to request meals from Indian restaurant The Regency Club in Edgware, burger diner Two Buns in Harrow and 'artisan' food makers Finchley Kitchen plus many more depending on the exact location ordering from.

Toussaint Wattinne, general manager for UberEATS said: “We’re really excited about expanding to Harrow and Edgware.

"The convenience that the app brings means that people can now get their favourite dishes delivered to their home or work in around 30 minutes with a few taps on a smartphone.

"We’re launching with some great restaurant partners, so we’re sure people will love the app.”

Two Buns in Harrow is one eatery residents can now order food from with UberEATS

The UberEATS app shows users available local restaurants and their menus, so they can order the dishes they want from a range of cuisines via the app or by visiting ubereats.com.

They can then watch their food arrive in real-time via a live map. As well as aiming to deliver in 30 minutes, there is no minimum basket size so people can order as little or as much as they like.

Residents in Harrow and Edgware trying out the app for the first time can use promo code: HELLONWLDN to enjoy up to £5 off their first two orders.
