Met Police are investigating a fight in which two young men are believed to have sustained stab wounds.

Officers were called at approximately 12.10am on Thursday (July 16), to reports of a fight on Palmerston Road, Wealdstone.

The group had dispersed before police arrived, a spokesman said.

Officers were later informed that two men, aged in their late teens, had presented themselves at a north London hospital. One victim suffered a stab wound and the other sustained slash injuries.

They are both said to be in a stable condition and their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Four people have been arrested in connection with the investigation and remain in custody at a north London police station.
