Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the fatal attack on a 33-year-old stabbed to death in Pimlico in December 2014.

Luke Jackson, of Sydenham Hill, was stabbed in the heart at a residential address in Lumley Flats, Pimlico Road, Westminster, at around 6.05pm on December 19 2014.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men aged 19 were arrested on Wednesday (November 8) and were taken to a central London police station where they remain in custody.

The detective in charge of the investigation, Detective Inspector, Jon Meager, said: "Luke was stabbed to death nearly three years ago, and we remain committed to solving this case and bringing those responsible to justice.

"We believe that on the night of his death, Luke had arranged to meet two people at the flat where he was stabbed and killed. Officers are keen to find out why that meeting was arranged, and who arranged it."

Officers from the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command investigating the case and have launched a fresh appeal for information.

Three people previously arrested in connection with the murder in December 2014 were later released with no further action.
